KUSA GBMs focus on teaching Korean culture and serve as a welcoming and interactive session for members to learn and celebrate various aspects of Korean traditions, language, cuisine, music, and contemporary culture. These meetings often include cultural presentations, fun games, and opportunities to try Korean food. Check out some of our previous GBMs below!
We also have a cultural show each Fall and Spring semester, for Chuseok and Seollal. Chuseok is Korean Thanksgiving and it is the time to celebrate the harvest, family, and ancestors. Seollal is Korean Lunar New Year and is celebrated by honoring ancestors and playing traditional games. In our shows, we incorporate dancing, skits, and games to share our traditions and stories.
